Andrew has over 25 years experience in the investment industry as general counsel working in private equity and as a lawyer in private practice. He is very familiar with supporting management teams and advising boards on operational and legal matters and has built a strong reputation for implementation, resolving complex issues and a pragmatic approach. Andrew is a qualified solicitor having trained at Wedlake Bell followed by 4 years in the corporate team at Travers Smith, the leading City law firm.

Before founding Westbrook Advisers, Andrew was COO and General Counsel at LDC for 9 years, the UK’s leading mid-market private equity provider, with responsibility for legal and operational aspects of the business including client facing transactions, issues and projects; all legal and risk management matters; and management of HR, IT and other business support functions Prior to that he acted as in-house lawyer at Doughty Hanson for 7 years and had 4 years in private practice as a corporate/commercial lawyer.
